alright, i can admit that yes, france played better than portugal. however, i believe the game winning penalty kick was unfair. to me it was clear that the defender went to kick the ball, slipped, and ended up on the ground where the french player tripped over him. also there was at least one time penalty for portugal which was denied. portugal's supporters will wonder for awhile if indeed france would have still won without this penalty. but if it ended up in PK's ricardo would've won it for portugal.
