The other night's poor performance brought home a degree of reality, that there are many good teams out there and England are not one of them. In your opinion what should England do in the next game against Argentina to give themselves a chance to qualify for the next round? Should go something like this get rid of Goran and replace him with Thatcher (you need a leader with balls), bring a couple SAS Snipers and place them at each end of the ground and pick an argo one by one until you get the winning goal, last result would be to use some of those missiles and blow them out the ground. England have no chance! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- sweety Unregistered Posted: June 04 2002,19:47 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Get the midfield sorted out! Scholes to play just behind Owen and Fowler If Nicky Butt's fit, pair him with Scholes. Dyer should start ahead of Joe And Sven's gotto stop playing long balls! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- barini Group: Members Posts: 7 Joined: June 2002 Posted: June 06 2002,09:04 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stop playing long balls? That is the only way the english can play? your'e not expecting an english player to dribble the ball are you? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nick Unregistered Posted: June 12 2002,09:17 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well England made it through and Argentina are going home. An amzing set of events. How did Argentina let this one slip away? England hussled enough against Argentina to throw them out of their rhythm and got a draw against 'already gone' Nigeria. They will meet Denmark next and should be able to beat them. Nick World Cup Blog -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4 replies since June 03 2002,17:44
