What Materazzi said to Zidane Quote | Reply

My partner is a lip reader.

Materazzi told Zidane, 'I squeezed your womans breasts the same way'

Can't really blame Zidane for his reaction.

The same way as what? Did I miss something? I must admit, it's very funny though! Ha ha ha ha! "I squeezed your woman's breast the same way". However, I didn't think it warranted such a response from ZZ. Maybe if he said something like I squeezed your woman's... erm... actually, never mind. My mind is a dirty cest-pool of exrement. Anyway, I still think it's funny.

HEY ZZ, OVER HERE MAN, YEAH IT'S ME MATTERAZI, LISTEN MAN, I SQUEEZED YOUR WOMAN'S BREAST LIKE THAT!
Hahahahahahahahaha! Kills me every time!Laugh

Zidane wouldnt just lost himself like that. Materazzi must have said something very offensive (racial remarks? -- as claimed by the media) to him.

It's all over British TV that it is Racial and Zaidane walked off, thought about it knowing that he needs to keep his cool and what was said to him was intentional so he looses his temper and hits the Italian player but he suddenly turned around with an attitude "you know what, I'm not taking this, football is a game... insulting me like that is stepping on my pride" and hit him back... they even got some football or sports psychologist to analyse this... I mean the interesting thing... he walked... thought about it... then hit him... it was after "the heat of the moment" if you know what I mean.

I'm with Zaidane 100% on this one and truly wish that Italian player goes to court for his racial insults. It seems like the BBC knows exactly what was said but it's SO RUDE that they can't publish it.

I don't know about you guys, I'm a girl (don't exactly beat people up when I'm upset haha) but if someone was to racially insult me like that I'd totally kick his ass... haha pull his hair and kick him the *beep* haha ok ok I'm getting carried away... and I'm a GIRL! So never mind a football player! Who is a MAN!

I mean SO many French were watching including their president/leader in the audience... and him knowing it's his last game and made that choice to hit him in front of the world... It must have been SO PAINFUL.

I now respect Zaidane even more now after this... but YES! It is an overall shame to France coz it lost without him... the guy is human... yes 34, yes with a family of a wife and 4 kids... but when it comes to pride and dignity... NO ONE will tolerate such insults. I think this incident should be looked at closely and in the future red cards should be given to both sides.

I mean it's an insult to the good old days football! Seriously! I only started watching football this world cup, first time in 9 years! (It’s coz I hated football) and the contrast of football then and now!! I swear it's like watching Titanic lol the acting!!! Oscar winning! and the rudeness and aggression! it's... sickening... these footballers should set an example... billions are watching! They are sending the wrong message… I mean the number of yellow and red cards given LOL a joke! I was laughing my ass off when I watch that game where 16 yellow cards were given… dun remember which one… LOL god that was like rugby at the end! Another reason why I respect Zaidane is coz he didn’t act in any of his games. He flew!!! LOL some Italian player bumped into him and the guy flew and then rolled on the grass, got up and started running again! We were watching and were like WOA!!! U da man!!! Haha 007! Ur jus missing the gun!!

Alright, I’m off!

beg my language but fuck that court for racial slurs on a football field....on any field .... what about all the other sports... they all talk HARDCORE shit why to make people break... & Zidane broke ...

specialy because it seems he gave it some thought (if we compare to the John starks headbutt (knicks...a few years back when he headed the ref...that was impulse)...To tell me that he decided his pride is worth more then the game is retarded....SOCCER is more then a game to fans ... think about it to let down your team, country & french people from around the world (though since the french (generalising but true, i haave many french friends that are dear to me but do think they are smartter then most) do have somewhat of a superiority complex will never admit it was his bad & will blame anyone) because of your pride is selfish ... I can accept you lost control & regret your immature move but by choice .... nope ...

Materazzi is a renoumed trash talker & low blow kindda guy... he did much worst in his career ... Can people finaly take responsabilty for mistakes or lacks of judgement ... Fuck...It's getting annoying Im as curiouse of what was said but as bad as it could be, it can explain zidane's move but not justify it...

Im realy perturbed by your court comment ... damn there will be no more players in any team sport... they even trash talk in curling ...(though not as deep) .....

To respect a icon because of a head butt, you are justifying violent reactions to words ... good example for all the soccer kids & Zidane's 4 kids ... I don't think he's proud & neither should anyone else be ... imagin, worst cenario the guy dies (which is not too much of a strech given the amount of skill these guys have at heading things + a hit to the sternum) ....would you still think it was justified ...

arg.......the field is a diffrent world ... im an immigrant where im at & i would not appreciate shit but if im representing my country ... Id control myself (trust me...i played bball & lost control & you feel like an idiot when the ref splits you & im a girl................)

The German newspaper and fans said a lot of extremely racist things about Italians prior to the Semi-Final.

Should Italians just go physically attack Germans? Would that be justified? No, of course it wouldn't..... I don't know what Materazzi said to Zidane. But even if he did say something racist, Zidane's physical attack was still disgracefully wrong, making his Red Card well deserved.

And a lipreader employed by Brazilian television channel Globo says the former Real Madrid star's moment of madness may have been provoked by Materazzi calling his sister a prostitute, according to a report on Globo.
There have also been reports Materazzi had called him a "terrorist" or suggested he did not have the right to play for France - both insults based on French-born Zidane's Algerian heritage.
