after that game nobody can ever tell me again that the United States got lucky in this World Cup. im not even talking about when the German defender (not goalie) made a great save with his hand as the ball was on the goal line heading into the goal. the USA played great that whole game. they created many many more opportunities than the Germans. the USA controlled the game and with any luck at all would have won. anyway, im still happy that the USA got as far is it did. the World Cup kicks ass!

i´m german, but you are right when you say that the us-team had many more opportunities than the german team.
but finally it was the same procedure as almost every worldcup: we played very bad and passive soccer but we have won.
and the result is the most important fact!!
last but not least congratulations to your team, i think it was the best american team, i ever saw playing....
