Poor Zaidane - still love u!!! always!!! Quote | Reply

I'm a girl who HATED football all her life! LOL couldn't get the idea of a bunch of guys running around in a field with a ball! but I have to say this world cup was so good I got addicted! haha who thought!

As for the final match, I supported France coz of Zaidane ONLY! he has amazing moves gotta admit! but I was sooooo upset that he couldn't control his anger with that italian dude! (felt so heart broken! lol like... NOOOOOO!!! what r u doing man!!!) but seriously... it's so unlike him! on his last match? don't you think it was seriously weird! I instantly knew what ever that italian said was a serious insult. I don't know but I also noticed him walking in after the BREAK I call it (between 1st half and 2nd half) really really pissed off! did you notice? I don't know, something happened in that break? recieved bad news or someone swore or insulted him... you gotta admit it wasn't like him! I've never seen him aggressive like that... in ANY of his matches.
I didn't blame him after his aggression... something told me that the italian made a bigger mistake to triger him like that.

I don't think he should retire like this... he should play one more cup of... something! (sorry duno much about football!) and leave in a very memorable way! lol in a GOOD way!

CONGRATZ Italy! Well done! especially on ur match with germany! totally kicked ass!

Zidane deserved to be sent off. There's no questions about it.
But let's see..italians just can't win anything without contraversy. There was some nasty words said by Materazzi,I have no

doubt. Why would you say nasty things to a guy, who's playing last game and who deserves your respect as collegue and player

who did a lot to improve game overal. You're playing that ggame too,and getting overpaid by playing like thug(I respected always

Cannavaro and Nesta, but Materazzi remainds me of Gentile) I presume.Zidane was called classless here, but I wouldn't call

Mterazzi's behaviour as class act too.Trying to provoke somebody, imo,is the same cheating as diving and should punished in the

same way.
Sad for Zizou,he deserved better(as also France),but he should take blame too.

A video of Materazzi, the dirtiest player in the game

Zidane made a huge mistake. Its clearly a red, but just as clearly Materazzi was baiting him, Zidane intially walked away and Materazzi kept up the trash talk. Then when Zidane head butted him in the chest, without stepping into him, Materazzi went down like he was shot and stayed down, while play went to the opposite end of the field, a clear dive. Materazzi got was he was looking for, he got Zidane sent off. Some will call it gamesmanship, but we don't need that kind of gamesmanship in any sport at any level.

Contrast Materazzi behavior with Henry staying on his feet in the box in the first couple of minutes of the second half, when he could have gone down and probably earned a pk. Materazzi behavior was cynical and clearly not in the spirit of fair play.

Apparently, there are many, many things that will drop Italian players to the floor.
-headbutts
-running past them too fast.
-stepping on thier shadows.
-playing actuall soccer against them
and the list goes on and on.

Materazzi was clearly trying to provoke Zidane by saying some nasty stuff next to Zidane's ears. That son of a bitch doesnt deserved to touch the Cup and should be headbutted again! What an asshole!

It was a shame that Zidane gave in to Materazzi's diabolical set up. If he hadnt been sent off, the outcome of the match would have been different considering the penalty shootout.
