Does Anyone else notice that John Harkes, the American commentator and USA team member, is so bitter about his terrible career. He is always negative about the other players, including the US, when his teams got smokes when they played. Listen to his commentary and you can tell he is trying to use a fake irish accent. Trying to sound like Colin Farrel or something. What a loser.

John Harkes is the modern day Benedict Arnold of soccer, I heard this jack ass wasn't going to ruin another world cup with his non stop ripping on americas team, what the heck he shows up like herpes on a first date, No one cares how much you know about every player in the world John and every time we go down this a** hole cant stop running his pie hole to piles on, I'm convinced he is the anti christ and the worst thing that ever happened to U S soccer, The bible says thou shall not hate, everyone but John Harkes.

i totally agree, he is the worst announcer in the world. he'll take a terrific goal scoring opportunity and dissect it as a mistake by the shooter. everything that he says is negative. Tell me, how am i supposed to stay excited about the game when this faggot is a buzzkill every time he speaks. Get him out of there!! Put him on mute! don't listen to what he says because he sucks as a player and his analysis of the game is shit.

I so agree with you... i have been sitting here listening to him each game and i want to jump into the tv and punch him. hes that bad. he sucks. i cannot believe espn keeps him on. what a terrible soccer player and worse commentator.
most of the time he has nothing to say but he still opens his mouth and says something stupid. hes like a used car dealer... when he opens his mouth, only bullshit comes out

Is John Harkes the only commendator in America? Why is he keeping his job for multiple world cups? Just use those other English ones instead! He's so biased based on his personal viewpoint and he basically knows nothing! His voice is irritating too! And why does he seem to appear on Big matches? Does espn really think he is like the #10 among their commentators?

ESPN/ABC, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, FIRE JOHN HARKES! He ruins an already struggling game in the U.S. Market

His expertise and commentary aside - WTF is with that accent? It's F-in brutal!!! Yesterday he struggled to accentuate Van Percy's name every freakin time. Whats with this guy? He is all over the place with the accent. Sometimes Spanish, sometimes English, sometimes just clueless! This guy is from NJ!!!! I grew up in NJ. Trust me - NOBODY F-in speaks like that, Only a total Jackass pretending yo be someone else. Total squid!
