I'm not English, nor do I support them, and I think Wayne Rooney's Red Card today was deserved... But a penalty shoot out is always a horrible way to go. Bad luck is much of the reason why England lost the shoot-out, because you know Eriksson would have liked to select Beckham, Owen and Rooney if they were available.... This isn't the first time England lost on a penalty shoot out. They also lost to Germany in 1990, and to Argentina in 1998. And to Portugal in the 2004 European Cup. While I feel bad for England, I don't think Portugal did anything wrong or unfair. Portugal played well giving it everything they had. I just think this match was decided by luck more than anything. England's been a good team eliminated by bad luck too many times. So I feel sorry for them.
